District 6NE Convention

To All Lions and guests of 6NE/MD6 

On March 28th, District Governor Lion Kelly Murkins will be holding the “SOAR TO ROAR” (The Higher We Soar The Louder We Roar!) 6NE Convention in Fort Morgan at The Block Event Center, 19592 E. 8th Avenue in the Larkspur Room.

The time is 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The price will be $30.00 per person. The $30.00 registration fee includes breakfast: homemade cinnamon rolls and coffee.  Also, lunch will be Fajitas (steak and/or chicken), rice, beans, chips and salsa, guacamole, and tortillas.  Provided throughout the day will be water and gourmet popcorn.  Afternoon dessert will be root beer floats. The registration form must be submitted to: DG Lion Kelly Murkins by March 6th, 2026. 

The guest speaker will be International Director Lion Debbie Dawson from Canada (Oshawa, Ontario). On Friday, March 27th, there will be a “Meet and ROAR” with ID Lion Debbie from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at The Block. 

District Governor Lion Kelly’s Convention is going to be a FUN, MEMORABLE, and INSPIRATIONAL event.  

Each Club is encouraged to bring a gift basket for the silent auction.  All proceeds will go to the MD6 White Cane Project. Bring your basket on the day of the Convention. 

The Best Western Plus, 1410 Barlow Rd, Fort Morgan, CO (970-370-2322) is giving Lions a discounted price of $109 per night room rate.  Mention “LIONS CONVENTION” when you call for the $109 price. (The price of the hotel is not part of the registration fee.)
